My turn to contribute something to this blog (esp since Im bored at work)
Things I miss while I was on my 10 day vacation in Bali and KL:
1) My family (yes, i get homesick easily)
2) My other family (the craigs, esp on weekends)
3) Ngang (I keep looking at his photo on my cam, and i swear i could weep...wish i could bring my cat everywhere i go)
4) The football match cum dance party I miss during the closing ceremony of National Stadium (and maybe Christina Aguilera...anyone went for either?!)
5) Copa America (managed to watch bits and pieces of it at Bali)
Things I miss now that I am back in this silly island:
Bali
1) Seafood at Bali (esp the sweet corn dish with squids *drools) Jimbaran is a must-go
2) Parasailing, jetskiing and surfing (can't get enough of 'em) and that slide we went down during white-water rafting
3) Bintang beer (so cheap...so smooth) and the peanuts we bought from the minimart.
4) Dreamland and Kuta/Halfway Beach (it's the life!)
5) Waking up beside Fish, then going for breakfast
6) Factory outlets for surf brands (aarghh, can go crazy! Mooks and Roxy stuff are so cheap!)
7) Watching Fish puke during our first night in Bali (haha, so much for bottoms up)
8) Hanging out outside our rooms, with Bintang and peanuts, while listening to emo and smoking indon/dfs ciggies
9) Dressing down like slackers and laidbackness/slow pace of coastal town.
10) Seeing Fish in action...bargaining down like a bitch...(until shop owner got fed up)
And I secretly enjoy speaking Bahasa Indon...haha...gets you local price to Base skatepark entry.

KL
1) Laundry bar (ya know it's happening...when you actually bumped into Singaporeans there...then again...koflow's everywhere, isn't he)
2) F.O.S (they have a huge one at The Curve)
3) Choreos donut *drools
4) Raju's banana leaf rice and the KJ tom yam
5) The loft (twilight actiongirl was awesome!)
6) Hanging out with the hospitable Malaysian rollerbladers
7) Shah Alam skatepark (please check it out...it's loads of fun, tho' it's a bit head-scratching initially)
8) Shopping malls in Malaysia (makes SG malls look lame)
9) A&W
10) Roti naan with Mozarella cheese after clubbing
