Do you ever feel like doing something unexpected, out of character and unscripted just because you can? Just to push the boundaries and see what will happen? Ever tasted a worm while you were a kid? Ever drawn on the walls just because there was more arm stretching space? What happened to impropriety being the best part about being human? The difference between us and machines is that we make the best mistakes. We’re professional at that. Happy accidents. Serendipity. Not being stuck to a mould. Not being able to define something completely original. Whatever happened to that?
Not doing what you’re told to do. Being irresponsible. Daring to not clean up after yourself. Oh… just once in a while sneaking in that chocolate chip cookie that’s oh-so-bad (but in a good way).
Today I want to talk about Britney Spears. Yes Britney who is incorrigibly slutty and unapologetic. Incredibly rich, went through a spell of bad decisions and is still exceptionally talented and just won’t go away. In a twisted sense I actually like her music. URGGHHH… I’m a Britney groupie. How sick is that? She’s a good girl gone wrong. She’s about the partying and the schmoozing. Completely cheap in a very public way but still able to hold her head up. What?!!! How could I like her music and what she stands for? Maybe it's because if she can make a comeback, it actually means… There’s redemption for us all!
